Our mattresses really do keep more profits local than any other brand we know of. They are family owned and built in North York Ontario, and they even deliver with their own team within a certain distance from the factory (vs third party large carriers that are owned outside of Canada). They also deliver a trailer load at a time to our location, vs most competitors get deliveries each week (“Just in time delivery”) which makes for a lot more wasted trips which add to their costs of their mattresses AND more importantly- harming the environment MUCH more vs trailer load per time. We also buy the materials to build the mattress from majority Canadian companies, which is the largest impact ripple effect to keep the majority of profits truly within Canada (vs big box and other online brands that use lower quality import materials to save margin- hence they have half the warranty coverage vs our mattresses!!!)
Our passion and focus is to get our clients on the best mattress that matches their sleep needs. The more people getting better sleep in any community equals happier AND healthier communities. Tom the mattress is great. We have slept in it for two days. We hope to get in there in a couple of weeks to give them a real test.
I was excited to get a new mattress, and really wanted to get the right one for both my husband and I. With many mattresses to choose from, we were thrilled to be able to deal with Tom, who listened to what we wanted and asked us questions regarding our sleep styles, mattress goals and budget constraints. We didn’t know where to start in looking for a new mattress, as the options now seem endless. A friend recommended Tom The Dreamer, and with the full return policy we felt at ease making the purchase. The mattress is well made and has a nice depth, which right away gave us confidence. Initially we wondered if the mattress was a little firm, as we were expecting to ‘sink in’ to the luxury, but we soon learned that the support was just right. What is missing in the initial feel is made up by the perfect all-night support; we have both been sleeping beautifully, with no aches in the shoulders and back. We have had this mattress for 6 months now, and love it. We would definitely recommend the Tom The Dreamer mattresses.
We bought our new mattress almost a year ago. We were a bit nervous to change over from our Simmons beautyrest. Getting a good night's sleep and being comfortable are very important to us. I believe in having a good mattress so changing to one of Tom the dreamer mattresses was a big decision. Tom was right, we wouldn’t regret it. It has been amazing. We sleep well and there is no transfer of movement when I or my husband move. We love it and recommend it.
I would give the mattress a good rating for price point especially compared to Tempur.
It is light enough that I can maneuver it myself if need be and that’s saying a lot for a foam mattress. We’re still sleeping on it so that says a lot by itself!
